Jen Violi has many talents, and they become immediately obvious when she enters a room. Her presentations are honest, direct, and come from the heart. As a guest panelist in my Seminar in Creative Writing & Publishing, she generously shared her experiences with my students and provided them much to chew on. In other contexts, I've witnessed her ability to gently command an audience and intuit exactly what the participants need. She has substance, she has presence, and most importantly, she enlivens our shared humanity.
